Dear Quinoa Growing Farmers,
Have patience and Stock your Quinoa for sometime.
There are buyers, but there are no genuine buyers - Buyers trying to exploit farmers so they can buy at cheaper rates.
Initially lots of buyers promised the rates like anything, now when they are not responding and silent.
Still don't worry, Quinoa is much in demand and shortly genuine buyers are coming and no. of processing plants are also increasing.
Processing plants coming up locations as per my conversations - Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Rajasthan, Chennai(This apart from zerocalz)
These will be operational in another 4 months, and another 6 to 8 will come up in a year. The mentioned upcoming processing plants have tied up with GauthamFarms to setup their plants and supply of Quinoa. So be assured of Quinoa Quality
So Once there is a competition, then farmers will automatically get a good price
Just have patience and all Quinoa Growers stock your quantity, dont sell in urgency at lower rates
International price at the moment for Farmers payback is 4.5 dollars per KG i.e., Rs.200 to Rs.274 between - Shortly GauthamFarms coming up with a Websites, where in day to day price of Quinoa in Indian Market can be monitored.
