Prof. Samar Singh on “New technologies for rice and wheat cultivation”

Prof. Samar Singh is Vice-Chancellor in Maharana Pratap Horticultural University, Karnal, Haryana. During the meeting he will speak on the role of Resource Conservation Technologies in sustainability of Rice-Wheat System in Indo Gangatic Plains. Prof. Samar Singh says, Rice-Wheat Systems are critical to South Asian food security. Over a billion people depend on these systems for their food. There is need for more infusion of Resource Conservation Technologies which conserve the natural resources like water, soil, environment & reduce the cost of cultivation in South Asia.
