Mr. Rajeev Kamal Bittu on “Profitable way to do community farming”

Mr. Rajeev Bittu has done Chartered Accountancy and is a first-generation farmer. He does not have any formal education in agriculture but being a Chartered Accountant, he uses his idea about budgeting and cost centre in agriculture also. His area of interest in agriculture is watermelon and vegetables cultivation. He says in India people have land as resource but for doing agriculture they are lacking fund. In such a situation community farming is his area of interest and leased farming with modern technology specially with drip irrigation, mulching and panchagavya (old Indian traditional fertiliser). During the meeting, he would speak on how community may be collected and their participation is also acknowledged specially in profit sharing.
