TIMBER CONCESSION

Wide timber concession of 7,932 hectares, located in Tambopata, madre de Dios, Capital of the biodiversity in Perú) along to the River Las Piedras with contract with the Peruvian Estate until October 2043. renewable.
All the legal documentation is current and updated
- Forest Management General Plan (PGMF) until 2014
- Annual Operating Plan (POA) until 2013
The PGMF indicates a timber potencial of 1,171,297.018 cubic meters (2,576,853,443.96 PT) and the POA indicates a timber potential 8,531.20 cubic meters (1’876,864 PT) in 354.40 ha (in that area exist a lagoon on approximately 50 ha) based in an 80% inventory. So, the real timber potential is bigger than our last inventory.
The Concession has different tropical species, mostly are hardwood such as: Capirona, Shihuahuaco, Copaiba, Catahua, Estoraque, Manchinga, Pumaquiro, Quillobordon, Tahuarí, Quinilla, among others.
- The Vcp of second quinquennium is 7,142.541 cubic meters
- We have the tree inventory in the Forest Management Plan made for this concession (2012 - 2013).
- The river Las Piedras is navigable all the year and is the means of main transport for the concession
- We have the advantage that we are river down, so is not necessary to navigate against the current when transporting wood (that floats) or hard wood towards Puerto Maldonado
- The distance of Puerto Maldonado to the concession by river is of 164 km. By speedboat between 7 to 8 hours
- The land is totally flat what facilitates the transfer of the wood, does not have mountains.
- The optimal months for extraction are of May to December that is not rainy season; the concession is at the margin of the river Las Piedras.
- We are interested in listening to a proposal of joint venture and royalties on the extraction as long as the down is payment attractive to the company at the time of signature of the contract or someone to undertake our rights.
- Interested buyer can visit the site with letter of intention (LOI). Investor to bear all cost leading to project confirmation and thereafter. Brokers with strong and valid investors backing welcome, but direct confirmation will be required..
