Teak Plantation Toppping after 25 ft height

Dear friends, I want to know whether it is advisable to top up /prune the head of teak plant in order to get better girth growth once it attains 25 ft height. Any other sugestion/suggestions to get better growth are solicited from the esteemed community. Thank you, K A Baig

No it would not help. teak plant will slow or stop its growth to height, once the flowering starts. after flowering in the top it will start gaining girth.

Dear Multani,

Pelase contact us for standardised cultivation practices of teak. Dont tip the plant. Prune the flowering, and side branches carefully. Keep the plantation weedless. Thin the planation, if it is planted cloesly.

Can Silver oak trees be pruned after a certain height and will it help in increasing the girth of the tree.
