Identify the Family Name of the Pomegranate Fruit Crop. Have a different crop whose Family Name is different. The reason for this is the same family will attract the same pests and diseases and hence it is best avoided.

Start intercropping only after 6-8 months of pomegranate plantation.

You can grow onion, cucumber, mug, cow pea, soybean etc. as intercrop.

Hi;

You may grow Lime (limbu) with your main crop. one row of lime after every 4 or 5 rows of Pomegranates.

Never grow Moringa (drumstick) with or even nearby your pomegranate plantation.
