Solar dryer for drying of medicinal herbs

Dear collegues Kindly give input about the usage of solar driers in drying medicinal herbs, whether any body is using it now, is it cost effective and be used at the R&D level /bulk production level. if any fabricators are there please give your contact details.

yes we are using the solar driers in drying medicinal herbs. definitely it is
cost effective and being used in Research n development,,For your further

Hi
Solar driers are being used to dry herbs and they can be used commercially, they are cost effective. The solar powered herb dryer has to have the capability to dry 500kgms of herbs per day from a 78% moisture content down to below 15% before packing or processing can take place. Half a tonne of herbs freshly picked will be brought to the dryer and be carefully dried with slowly passing warm air about 30 - 38°C.

I want to use the solar drier for drying the chillies ,and how much it cost ,can you please advise me.
