The ideal planting season is between July - September. Beyond Kolhapur,
Most farmers plant during oct - december.

you can cultivate banana starting from all months. But just now say another 60 days are the best.You have to book the plants atleast 30-45 days in advance.prepare land, set drip system. It is better get the soil, water quality checked also and then seek advise from a good horticulturist.

Banana can be cultivated thorough the year. But consider these factors before you go into Cultivation.
The Variety of Banana that you want to cultivate.Based on this the yield of the plant may vary from 10 months to 18 months.
At the time of the plant bearing fruit also consider the climate, Too much rain or wind will uproot the plant.
methods of irrigating the plant during the dry spell.
The other factor that you should also consider the price over the years at the time of harvest.
based upon the above parameters you can decide upon the month of plantation.

The best time to plant would in September-October. Because the TC plants take 12 months to yield and will give you the best market during October to December of the year where we have plenty of festivals during this season. Always remember the month of the yield before planting so that you get the best price.
