Potential crops for export to US

Hi All,

I am interested in growing crops which have good demand in USA. I am a non resident Indian. Can you suggest some crops that are exported to USA? For your information, my family owns 30 acres of land on the banks of river Krishna in AndhraPradesh. They are fertile lands, but my family usually grows only rice. I am willing to invest in other crops that have good overseas demand.

Horticulture Crops

You can consider horticulture crops (such as mango) for your land. Spices and condiments are another crops that have huge demand abroad. Also consider growing Spirulina, that could be grown in coastal area, it's a algae that gives good return and could be exported.

Dear Mr rboorgapally,

If you are interested in exporting to USA and europe it needs to be by way of a business. Small farmers with 30 to even 100 acres lands can think of exporting except if you are sending material to friends on a limited understanding.

If you are ready to go in for a 120 million INR business investment you can look into our professional services where in you will get the business idea , full bankable project report, logistics of running the agri business, export orders, full support for getting subsidies of the order of Rs 50 lakhs and also help in recruiting required trained/technical manpower..

Trying to grow crop on you 30 acres land is a different story which you can do with limited success due to innate factors.
