I live in Cumbum, Theni district. This is a very special area for agriculture as our temperatures range from 25 to 35 degrees (sometimes going up to 40 and down to 20) year around. We have a lot of very fertile red soil. Growing here are grapes, coconuts, tamarind, and omla. New fruits such as pomegrantes are doing well here. we also have a lot of vegetables such as tomatoes, cauliflower, tapioca, cabbage, bitter gourd, snake gourd, beans, drumsticks (moringa) and chillies.
