## Invitation for Contract / Buy‑Back Vegetable Cultivation

We are inviting interested farmers and farmer groups to join **contract farming / buy‑back cultivation** of key vegetables for regular supply to Chennai on a long‑term basis.

### Crops and Area
- Important vegetables required regularly for Chennai market (list and exact varieties will be finalized during discussion).
- Cultivation area per farmer / group will be decided based on land availability and our demand.

### Our Offer to Farmers
- Assured **buy‑back** of produce as per written agreement.
- Pre‑fixed or formula‑based pricing, discussed and agreed before sowing.
- Clear schedule for harvest and lifting of produce.
- Technical guidance on variety selection, cultivation practices, pest and disease management.
- Support on grading, packing standards and quality specifications required for Chennai buyers.

### Key Terms (Explained During Meeting)
During our meeting, we will share and explain the detailed agreement covering:
- Pricing method and payment terms.
- Responsibilities for transportation from farm / collection point to Chennai.
- Supply schedule (daily / alternate days / weekly) and minimum quantity.
- Grading and **packing** standards (size, weight, rejection norms, crate/bag type).
- Quality check parameters and allowable variation.
- Technical specifications for each crop (variety, seed source, spacing, fertilizers, plant protection, pre‑harvest intervals, etc.).
- Duration of agreement, renewal terms and basic dispute resolution process.

### Who Can Join
- Individual farmers.
- Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs).
- Informal farmer groups cultivating vegetables on a regular basis.

### Location Focus
- Farmers located within feasible transport distance to supply vegetables regularly to Chennai markets and buyers ( Key districts in Tamil Nadu - Kovai,Ooty,Hosur, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Tiruvannamalai, Dindigul, Erode, Salem, Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur , Cuddalore, Etc)
