Dear sri kanwargrewalji,

First if all please inform me any poly house or green houses or shadenets are established in your area .
1) Investment -
1. Poly house :

Naturally ventilated system Tubular structure Rs. 935/ Sq.m 50% of the cost limited to 4000 Sq.m per beneficiary under NHB scheme

2.Shade Net House :
(i ) Tubular structure Rs. 600/ Sq.m 50% of cost limited to 4000 Sq.m per beneficiary. under NHB scheme

2) Crops
Flowers like rose, Gerbara , Carnation can be cultivated
Vegetables like tomato, colour capsicum can be cultivated

3) Cultivation
Crops are flowers can be cultivated on raised beds with drip and fertigation system

4) Marketing
Marketing has to be done by tie up with super markets and local markets

5) Net Projected Profit yearly
Approximately 2 -4 lakhs for colour capsicum per acre &
Rs.1.5 to Rs.2.00 Lakhs for roses or Gerbera

6) Setup Process
The suppliers like Jain and so many companies will set up the polyhouses on turn key basis

7) Subcidy
Either poly house or shade net 50 % of the cost will be subsidy available from National Horticulture Board Provided a you avail a term loan from Banks

1 Cost of planting material of high value vegetables grown in poly house Rs.105/
Sq.m 50% of cost limited to 500 Sq.m per beneficiary.

2. Cost of planting material of flowers for poly house Rs.500/ Sq.m 50% of cost
limited to 500 Sq.m per beneficiary

3. Flowers (For a maximum of 2 ha per beneficiary)

(a) Cut flowers Rs.70,000/ ha 50 % of the cost to Small and Marginal(S&M) farmers and 33% to other category farmers, subject to a maximum of Rs.35,000/- per ha for S&M farmers and Rs. 23,100/- per ha for other category farmers.

8) Min and max area that can covered for Poyhouse

poly house minimum 560 Sq mts and maximum 1000 sq mts can be constructed

During summer months flowers like Gerbara may not survive in polyhouse if the temperature is above 40 decrees C

Thanks Sir, If we go for cut flower cultivation Rose. What would be required in terms of selecting variety, management & cultivation and marketing. We are located at 35 Kms from Ludhiana, 70 Kms from Chandigarh and 250 Kms from Delhi. How can we contact dealers and how the roses will be sent to these dealers and at what cost?
