Traditional Organic Farming

I was surprised to hear that once upon a time in the Great Bharat we were having around 480000 indigenous varieties of paddy seeds. A person in case wants to taste all the varieties of seeds and he tastes one seed a day, he has to live for 1300 years. Even in case he tastes three varieties of seeds a day he has to live for 400 years. This was the wealth of our agriculture.

All this were developed not applying synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, it was developed only by using organic fertilizers and pesticides. We Indians were having the knowledge to create 480000 seeds means definitely we will have more knowledge about fertilizers and pesticides to grow them. Till 60 years back our agriculture business was flourishing only by using organic fertilizers and pesticides. Our forefather were living with nature and adding more to the nature so that the future generations can enjoy the nature peacefully.

Today we are stating that we are modern people. Modern people mean living in an untraditional way. Is it correct? Are we really modern and enlighten people?

Today we are of the opinion that using synthetic fertilizers and pesticides are modern agriculture. No it is not. Using more machinery, saving the labour hours, and growing agriculture organically without doing damage or less damage to the mother earth should be called as modern. Anyone who is following traditional will be called as a Stone Age man. Actually he should be called as a modern man.

A son of agriculturist should think that he should become an agriculturist.

The Great Saint Thiruvalluvar in his poet number 1033 has stated the greatness of an agriculturist.

Who ploughing eat their food, they truly live:
The rest to others bend subservient, eating what they give.
They alone live who live by agriculture; all others lead a cringing, dependent life.

The entire people will depend on the agriculturist. This is the golden words of Saint Thiruvalluvar.

Henceforth let us do agriculture only with traditional seeds and use only organic fertilizers and pesticides.

In this regard we help people by selling Organic Fertilizers – Panchagavya and Organic Pesticides / Insecticides / Fungicides – Agnihastra.

We request you to kindly use this and produce foods organically in traditional method.
