Electricity Generation/ Gas Production using vegetable and fruit wastes
The facility will be spread in an area of 3-5 acres of land with sufficient water availability, road access and electricity and preferably away from thickly populated areas, with average temperature of 20-350 C and with plenty of wind.
Biogas will be produced in high – rate anaerobic digestors. Each digestor will have an intake capacity of 20 tonnes of vegetable and fruit wastes /day per day.
Land requirement: app 3-5 acres
Water requirement: app 1.5 lakhs litres per day
Electricity requirement: nominal
Revenue generation for 100 MT vegetable and fruit wastes per day:
The revenue is from three points
1, Electricity - Rs.5.69/unit
2, Slurry - Rs.10,000/MT
