Dr. Arumugam Thangaiah is the Dean, Horticultural College & Research Institute, Periyakulam, Theni. His area of interest in agriculture is high density fruit farming and precision farming in vegetable crops. Dr. Arumugam has rich experience in horticulture for more than three decades in teaching, research and practical knowledge which favour him to offer lecture or talk to students, researchers, growers and industry. He says hidden hunger can be eradicated through horticultural crops.
