In my area we have very good conditions for wine, vegetable and fruits production, although being between the 49th and 50th latitude around the “Neustadt an der Weinstasse” Area. My question is, if you could help me, finding the right ginger rhizome (tissue) for my area and support my with production specifics. In my area we cultivate potatoes on small dams approximately 40cm high and 70cm broad and I think to transplant the rhizome using your technique Into those dams, but here my knowledge stops. I don’t know the optimum sprouting temperature or time (already in tray soil or outside, with or without fungicide), nor the light conditions on each vegetative phase. I also don’t know how long it takes until (under the specific conditions) the rhizome has grown enough green leafs to transplant into the open field. I have the chance to use mini-tunnels (under a 3m long arc) and don’t know the maximum/minimum/optimum of water and fertilizer. I hope you understand the situation where I am coming from and where I would like to go and it is my understanding that you are the right place of experts I can ask.
