Hello,
I want to know the colour capsicum prices through out the year. I would like to know the prices are consistent or not. what is current prices of them.

Hello sir,
presently around Rs.40-60, some time it may equal to green capsicum price that is Rs.20/kg to Rs.150/kg in seasons. if you get an average price of 50 or 60 is still it is a profit in order to avoid variation you can make arrangements with star hotels and shopping malls a price for entire year this concept is there already operating kindly contact malls and star hotels who will give the agreed price what so ever may be the rate in market.

Market demand varies with the supply factor so price also varies. It's better to have tie up with exporters/ restaurants etc. Keep alternate buyers arrangement and don't depend upon single buyer. Also try to sow early or late varieties so that you can provide capsicum round the year and even during off seasons. Cultivating Any single commodity is not advisable, you should have bucket of 4-5 different commodities in different season depending upon the demand. That will give regular and consistent income as compared to any single commodity like capsicum.
