Hello farmers!

There are almost twenty tractor companies in Indian market and several Banks, FIs and private agencies lend money for buying a tractor in India but not all the farmers are eligible for owning a tractor and why?

Almost all the Tractor companies sell their tractors through a dealer only.
The Dealers are protected in many form where as the farmers are required to submit the following documents apart from a assured payment for the Tractor.

a.Blank stamp paper signed 2Nos.
b.Blank cheques signed 4Nos.

In addition, there is a general demand for the full payment of the tractor within 30days otherwise, the dealer threatens the farmers with penal interest clause.

As usual, the borrower have to execute the Form20 under MV act which empowers the lending company to seize the tractor at any point of time when there is a need.

I forgot to mention about the so called "offers" supposed to be from the Dealer's profit literally known to all the Tractor manufactirers????

Let me seek some comments from you viewers whether is it justified to harass a farmer while a Dealer is bagging handsome money by indulging in a kind of act that resembles a muscle business??

I have not refered the name of any particular Tractor company and hope our viewers are well aware of my honest charges.

Bhadrinath.
