Hello All

We are planning to make silage next month and are going to plant maize.
I am trying to understand which variety of maize to use to get max. yield from land and the harvest time for that.
The highest yielding variety is African Tall maize but due to height of plant, it is prone to bending when heavy rains hit.

People with silage experience, please let me know which variety you are growing and after how many days you harvest and yield per acre. Please give silage making procedure that you are following like other materials added and time given for silage.

Thanks
Nikhil
