which is the best host plant for sandalwood cultivation

I am Bharat desai from bijapur,karnataka. i am planning to start sandalwood cultivation from this monsoon. the climatic condition is 5'c temperature in winter and 43'c temperature in summer .please give me the details of the following;
1)does the sandalwood plant grow in this climatic condition
2) which is the best host plant for sandalwood
3) what should be the distance between 1 feet tall sandalwood seedling and the host plant.

Tur Or Toor is the best host plant for sandalwood,I personally experienced it.

thank you for the reply. for how many years toordal should be a host for sandal. please elaborate what should be the host in 2nd..3rd year and so on till 15th year
