where to grow babycorn...

hi all agriculturists ,
can anybody help me know which are the good places in india to grow babycorn and ice burg (where the soil and environment is good for that)
is farming(with good quality) of these is also possible in north india

Dear Sir

Baby corn can be grown both in north as well as south india.
it thrive well in loose,loamy soil, rich in organic matter and well drained as it is very sensitive to water logging.

and did u mean iceberg

and yes i meant iceberg,
actually i m a student in it
but i was thinking about farming buissness ( exotic vegetable )
i came to know that most of them are grown in south only.

soon i m going to banglore can u give me any idea which are nearby places (distts-villages,farms)where this farming (iceburg -colored capsicum,etc) is done where i could get to meet growers-farmer directly , i want to get a real idea what one can make
out of this buisness.
