you can start a vermicompost unit wilt minimum investment of 60000, you should open a pit convient length, 5 feet width and 2 to 2.5 feet depth.If your area is heavy rain fall area try to have shed above these pits if not just below the tree is enough.
once the pit is ready put hard material at the base fallowed by light material and finally fresh material, keep on irrigating up to 15 days later leave the vearms in the pits around one kg/pit and repeat the irrigation see that moisture is maintained in the pit in different layers use fresh cow dung there by it enhance the degradation process. after three to four month stop irrigation verms move done then harvest the compost.
