Sri Chelli Frames is looking to hire Young Dynamic Farm Manager to handle 18 acres (Hiriyur, Chitradurga Dist, 150 km from Bangalore) with relevant experience in Agriculture. The candidate should have a minimum 15 years of experience.
Responsibilities of Farm Manager.
1. You will be overall in charge of the farm and day to day activates.
2. You should implement Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Integrated Farm Management
(IFM) concepts.
3. Implementing new techniques for increasing crop and soil productivity, including cost
effective irrigation methods and water management
4. Manage the farm labor tactfully for optimal output
5. Execute farm development schedule/activities.
6. Visiting agriculture consultants/experts and understanding the schedules/guidance/ new
technology, techniques on cost effective way.
7. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle – from sowing, routine maintenance to
harvest with optimal land utilization prior to sowing.
8. Implementing water management techniques across the farm of minimum cost basis
9. You should educate farm labour on safety/welfare/health, hygienic, operating the farm
equipment / drip irrigation/producing our own manure pit with our farm waste.
10. You will expel Cultivation ideas and marketability of short term crops
Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Facilities includes accommodation, 2 wheeler etc.
