Hi i am going to start chicken farm in tamilnadu district- thiruvarur i want to register that farm in SSI.what the way to register.

There is no SSI registration now. SSI registration has been stopped from Sept 2015. Instead of SSI now the registration of all MSMEs (Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises) is UA (Udyog Aadhar). This requires Aadhar Card already taken by the applicant/enterprise owner. If Aadhar Card is not yet obtained, there is an option to file UAM (Udyog Aadhar Memorandum) at the local District Industries Centre (DIC) based on application proof of Aadhar and other ID proof.
There is no registration now for proposed units. You can register after starting the unit. But for starting the unit, you will require other licenses such as D&O License from Panchayat/Municipality etc. If any services required for start up, please contact us along with your contact details by mail to E: greenlandfns@gmail.com
