SIR, I AM R. ANURADHA FROM INDIA. I AM AN AGENT. MY CLIENTS WANTS
JOINTVENTURE IN WIND POWER SCENARIO -----------
SIR, I AM CHARGING 3%COMMISSION IN POUNDS. PLEASE CONTACT....
Enterprises turn to wind energy-------------
So it is evidently proved that harnessing of wind energy is highest in Tamilnadu with an installed capacity of 4136 MW contributing 42.39% of the country’s total installed capacity of around 9756 MW as on 31-1-2009.
Investing in Wind mill is very much remunerative and a good business to those who have finance and invested amount shall be cent percent depreciated in the IT for the invested amount in wind mill.
About the promoter
The promoters of this specialized project ,have vast experience of more than 20 years in Wind Farm Technology and also presently working as General Managers in a leading Wind Mill service providing company in Kanyakumari Dist., Tamilnadu.
They can independently select the wind area, selecting good machines, getting Government approvals, ordering, receiving of material, QC., erection and commissioning, operation and maintenance works with proven track record and he erected and commissioned more than 80 MW project independently.’
Power of the Wind
The entrancing power of the wind has always had a captivating effect on man. For thousands of years, people have been particularly fascinated by the possibility of capturing the wind and harnessing its power. This section explains the history of how wind turbine came to existence, how wind is created, how does wind turbine work, Indian government support, future of wind power projects in India,
History
The world “wind mill” makes it plain that wind power was use to mill grain. The world “mill”itself stems from the Latin Word for a machine the grins grain; Molina. Many European languages contain closely related words that all have the same meaning: French Moulin; English; German; Muhle and Danish; molle. The interpretation of the word is thus closely linked to the primary task of the mill for the centuries.
What is win and how it is created?
To understand the fundamental question, it is important to know some rules of physic that apply to the field of meteorology
• Cold air is heavier than warm air
• The wind blows from areas of high pressure to low pressure
• High pressure is formed when the air is cooled an sinks down through the atmosphere
• Low pressure is formed when the air is heated and rises up through the atmosphere
• The rotation of the earth deflects the wind to the right in the northern hemisphere and to the left in the southern hemisphere (known as coriolis effect)
How does the turbine work
1. When wind blows the energy in the wind is converted to rotational motion by the rotor
2. When blade turns the rotor turns the shaft which transfer the motion into the nacelle
3. The slowly rotating shift enter a gearbox that greatly increase the rotational shaft speed
4. The output shaft is connected to a generator that coverts the rotational moment into electricity.
What are the marjor parts of a wind turbine generator
1. Nacelle
2. Rotor blades
3. Gear Box
4. Tower
5. Yaw Motor and its mechanism
Further inside the Nacelle it consist of shaft, gear box, brakes and the generator
Carbon Market
India has emerged as the second largest seller of carbon credits in the world with a 6 percent market share in 2007 China tops the list.
Selection of the machine
According to the wind speed and locality, we will plan our requirement duly selecting high wind machine and low wind machine.
Normally now small wind turbines are very much preferable since there is low wear and tear and generation is also constant.
Project Profile
Wind power Generation
Wind Electric Generators are normally instated in areas where the wind speed averages around 5 to 6 meter per second an above. At presentmore than 400 such windy sites have been identified throughout the state.
The power generated by the Wind Mill cannot be directly connected to the en use load like that of a diesel generator set. Since the prime input to the WEG is wind, which is variable in nature, the power generated by the wind mill is also continuously varying. Therefore a stable utility grid I required for exporting the power an also for providing reactive power in the case of wind mill which ue asynchronous generators.
The quantum of energy supplied by the WEG to the grid is recorded on a meter and the State Electricity Board takes reading. Tariffs for purchase of the generated wind power vary from state to state. At present, many wind power projects are in operation in various locations in the country and new wind farms are also being set up in Tamilnadu, Karnataka,Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh
Incentives
The fiscal incentives extended by the Central Government to the Wind Energy sector include the following
• Direct taxes 80 percent depreciation in the first year of the installation of the project
• Tax Holiday for 10 years
• The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has also issued guidelines to all State Governments to create an attractive environment for evacuation, purchase, wheeling and banking of electric power generate from Wind Power projects.
Captive consumption of sale of power to State Electricity Board
The power produced by a WEG can be used for captive consumption by an industry or for sale to State Electricity Board.
Requirements for establish the wind farm
• Deciding the wind farm capacity
• Assessing the requirement of land base on the wind farm capacity
• Acquisition of land
• Finance
• Evacuation of power through the SEB grid
Project locations
• Metrathi and Marudhur in the state of Tamilnadu
Rating offered
250 KW., 30 metre rotor dia on 50 metre tower height.
These machines are designed for the low/medium winds prevailing in our company. Wind farm with 2 to 3 small rating machines have a higher reliability factor than a single machine of larger capacity since an outage of the single/large machine would result in considerable generation loss than the outage of a small machine in a group of 3. Especially for the Indian Grid conditions these reasons are valid.
PROJECT COST
SUPPLY OF 40 NUMBERSOF 250KW (10 MW) WIND MILL PROJECT
PER MACHINE COST : Rs.1,25,00,000
FOR 10 MW (40 units) TOTAL PROJECT COST Rs.50 Crore (Rupees fifty crore) inclusive land, supply of machine, erection and commissioning and handing over to you under turn key basis.
REVENUE ANTICIPATED
1 unit of 250kw Wind mill can generate 5 lakhs units per annum. So totally40 units (10 MW) can generate 2 crore units per annum
TNEB purchase price
Rs.3-90 per unit. So the revenue would be 2 crore units x R.3-90 per unit Rs.7.8 crore
Add: Carbon credit @ Rs.0-40 per unit Rs.0.8 crore
Total revenue anticipated Rs.8.6 crore per annum
Project Profit
Total Investment Rs.50 crore
Revenue anticipated Rs.8.6 crore per annum
Apart from this 80% accelerated Income Tax declaration, holiday moratorium are also available.
