I would like to know the details about turmeric. I am interested for the sandy soil of about 10 acres right know.

turmeric cultivation

we are also growing turmeric in hilly region of uttarakhand from last year , we assuming more then 30mt production in Dec. 09. onwards.
we have suverna and pant peetabh varieties in field.
can u pl. help us to market our produce.

i am rajesh from madurai,i am very much intersted in thisproject,so please send me the complete sample project.For example if i want to start with 1 acre (i am having land) then give me the initial cost,water facility,running cost,labours needed for one acre and howmany month it will take to give yield and also after one cycle what can i do?

in which part of uttrakhand you are cultivating tumeric
 

which variety of turmeric you grow, and how much is your production of turmeric in total.Our annual requirement is around 1000 tons.please tell about your location.
