About Siliguri Farm SiteLocated in Bholanath Para , Siliguri, this is a 900 sq mt poly-house which in-houses tropical orchids like Dendrobium, Phalaeonopsis, Gramatophyllium and other orchids and handles hardening & plants growth
About Jotiakali Farm SiteLocated in Zameendar para Jotyakali area, this is an upcoming site which is planned to in-house more than 2.5 lakh of tropical orchid plants, a tissue culture lab , a world class orchid display centre once fully operational. This is being envisioned in 3 phases and 3-5 years time-frame. Phase I work includes 10000 sq mtr of Poly-house & Shade Net area in-housing around 80000 tropical orchids including Dendrobium, Vanda, Phalaenopsis, Oncidium, Cattleya etc. For Both cut flower and pot plants. This is to be commenced in 1st quarter of next year.
OPERATION MANAGER – 1
Job Description
· Will lead a team of different orchid farm site -in-charge, Assistant Managers and Supervisors
· Responsible and Accountable for all Operational Activities in farm sites
· Driving Operational Efficiency of All sites
· Follow up with the day to day activities of all the sites from the site in-charge, Assistant Managers and Supervisors
· Handling normal accounts of all the sites
· Handling issue with the site in-charge about the labours and other
· Fulfilling requirements of all the sites
· Maintaining the data of the sites
· Overall smooth functioning of all the sites
· Collection of data from the site in-charge and book keeping
Qualification & Skills Required
· Graduate with min 5 years of experience (MBA preferred)
· Having experience in General Management
· MS Office, Good Skills on Excel and PP Presentation
· Strong Inter-personal & Communications skill
· Language : Good Command in English, Hindi, Bengali and Nepali
· Very Strong in General Management
· Good Team Management Skills
· Knack for learning and creating and culture of learning and growth
