Saw your post. Mushroom cultivation business is good only if you have a market near by. Many varieties are very good to eat but have very low shelf life like Paddy straw mushroom. While a good mushroom with good shelf life is Milky mushroom. There is also oyster mushroom which can be both sold fresh as well as can be dried. Dehydrated oyster mushroom can be stored for over couple of years if the container is air tight.There is also most popular button mushroom. But it is technically very tough to cultivate by a new comer like you. It requires proper training and good amount of capital investment since temperature has to be controlled all throughout the cultivation .
Then there is the biggest challenge of procuring good quality spawn. If you do not have good spawn then every thing fails.
