wanted HF cows

Dear All,

I need HF cows which can give 30lts per day. we are from Thanjavur district. I would buy intially 2 or 4 cows for trial purpose. what is the current price? I have already planted the grass.

is it a profitable business?

when you sell your milk profitable then you start dairy farming, first you locate sell your milk profitable,cow purchasing is does a not matter.......i approx 1/litter=1300 //
if u interested you go to erode,at Thursday at every week,that market name is karungulpalayam cow market......

Dear Sir,

The price of the cow shall depend on her breed, age, health, type classification and milk yield. Generally a young HF cow with 30 lits of production per day should cost around Rs. 50,000.00.
Selling milk is never a problem. Dairy farming gives a Return on investment of 25% when average herd milk production is 3500 lits i.e. peak production per cow = 17-18 kgs and cow milk price assumed at Rs.18 per kg
