how to cultivate vennila beans in clay soil & which soil suitable for that plant

vanilla plants are creepers and are grown on living support (trees) . To grow vanilla in clay soil is not advisable as too mush water stagnation will rot the vanilla vines.

You need good porous soil with good drainage and shaded trees with 50 - 75 % shade to grow the vines.A good mulch at the base of the plants offers insulation from the hot sun at the root zone and reduction of moisture loss.
