Dear all,
Every year many dairy farmers all across the country suffer huge economic losses because of non - adherence to prescribed Vaccination Schedule. Given below are vaccination schedule for dairy animals:-
For Cross breed and Exotic cows (Holstein / Jersey / Brownswiss / any other Bos Taurous Cattle):-
1. FMD Vaccination (CLOVAX or Raksha OVAC) in January.
2. Theleriosis (Theleria vaccine by Indian immunologicals) in March.
3. Combined vaccine of FMD, HS and BQ (Raksha Triovac) in June.
Apart from all the above, the heifers should be vaccinated against Brucella after getting tested for brucella abortus.
For Buffaloes and Bos indicus/ Zebu cattle :-
1. FMD Vaccination (CLOVAX or Raksha OVAC) in January.
3. Combined vaccine of FMD, HS and BQ (Raksha Triovac) in June.
Apart from all the above, the heifers should be vaccinated against Brucella after getting tested for brucella abortus.
