Sir, as i am new in this area, i shall request you to advise me the type of soil, temperature for turmeric cultivation. Cost of seed and area to be shown, yields and return per acre of land.

First of all I want to know from where do u belong?
There is not any particular type of soil required for cultivation of turmeric.
The land where potatoes or arbi cultivated is suitable for turmeric.
only one thing creates problem i.e drain (same).
(rain water should not stand more than 5 days)

About turmeric seed

Dear Sir,
How much seed is required by you?
We hav salem variety?
7 qun is required per acre(seed).
yeild is 100 to 150 qun. depends upon one's care.

we charge Rs. 57/kg. this rate is upto 11th april after tht there wll be rise in prises.
