sir,
turmeric is a very good crop wich is widely used int he industries like food, cometics, medicine and dye.
It recquires open land for condition but under 25% shade it grows better also
climate : tropical humid weather
soil : soil with very good organic matter and water holding capacity but welldrained sandy loamy soils are very much suitable to turmeric
