To start a Poultry farm

Hi this is Shridhar.Presently working as an engineer.I want to shift my professsion from engineering to agriculture but gradually.To start on this I want to start poultry farm with help of my relative who is a farmer.
I want tot know whats the initial cost & risk involve in it.Any guidance or website I can get on it.
