I am thinking of starting a farm in upper Ontario after I finish university. The weather in the area can reach below -30 C in the winter with a lot of snow, and gets above 20 C in the summer. The land I would be working on would be ranging mostly between light brush and dense forest. I know that I would have to clean up a lot of area in order to do this.
I have a small amount of experience as I am currently working on a small farm with vegetables and chickens. I want to start out with a couple dairy cows and some calves (maybe 3 of each or so?) along with some other animals possibly.
Do those of you with experience raising dairy cattle think that this would be possible in the conditions that I would be in? If so, do you have any tips or suggestions?10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254 happymod
