I am currently working in Suriname in South America and I am trying to find a biomass plant which could grow in swampy areas. I have a piece of land of 20 hectares and during 3 months there is in certain areas approximatly 2 feet of water. After it dries up slowly during the dry season.
I would like to plant this area with a biomass grass like Napier grass which I could use as animal feed or as biomass ressource to be sold at a pellet plant. The soil is very sandy. The climate is tropical with a dry season and a rainy season.
I will appreciate some recommendation on the matter.
