Teak Tree Plantation in Kokan

Hi ,

I have 3 Acers of lant in Konkan :Maharashtra, I am planing to plant Teak trees on 3 Acer almot 3000 trees, below are some of my question regarding this , you inputs are highly appreciated

1) what is the plantation cost for three Acers.
2) After 20 years how much amount can i expect from 2500 trees.
3) do i need to under go soil analysis, if yes where can i do it near chiplun.
4) what kind of plant do u suggest for handsome income and low maintenance seed/tissu culture.
5)what are the legal matters involved in teak plantation.
6) do we need regular maintenance for this?

HI

For the details on costing you can contact the forestry department. After 20 yrs, depending n the demand the cost will be determined. Its always better to have a soil and water analysis done before start cultivating any crop. REgular maintainence is required for all the crops.
