1. What is the ideal spacing for teak?
2. Are there teak plantations in India using a 2m. X 2m. spacing?
3. Are there teak intercropped with blackpepper?

Sir,
I've sent you my inquiry about tissue cultured teak, please check ur mail.
I am planing to start a Teak Plantation for a 3 hectare.
Still sourcing stocks and do some research about this, the plan is to use 2x2m spacing, but want to get some advice from Indian Teak growers.
If 2 x 2 is a practice in India, what are the advantage and disadvantage for this spacing? Is this possible for black pepper intercropping?

Tissue culture teak plantations

The standard spacing dimension will be maximum 10' x 10' .This spacing dimensuion for ordinary root/stump culture.Now the teak plants are promoted and propagated by tissue culture . So the following sp0acing dimension will be sufficient for Tc teak cultivation.Row to row 10 ft and plant to plant 9 ft this spacing will be adopted for normal teak and tc teak.the following spacing dimension will be 9' x 9 ' & 9' x 8'. FOr planting in the boundries kindly plant 8' x 8 ' .we are having the good quality ,high yield and early maturity tissue culture teak saplings availiable with us.
