In Goa, we have large tracts of land under cashew orchards. These are usually hilly areas, accessible to stray cattle, wild boar and the like. Possibly there is potential for intercropping. Would dragon fruit be suitable to our humid coastal climate, does it require irtigation and how susceptible is it to straying cattle, wild boar, monkeys, squirrels?
