Suggestions needed to cultivate in 1 acre of land

Hi,
I m from chennai and has a small piece of land. Recommend me what will be the best to cultivate. Soil is red and has water facility. Last 10 years no cultivation dobe on that soil. Earlier they were doing rice,sugarcane and groundnut.I m looking for new ideas
