Hi members
I am prasant from Odisha.Am new to farming.
Recently i purchased 4 acre land in odisha.I must say that i can not invest so much on plantation because i want to buy some more lands next to mine
My motive is to start tree plantation now and wait for 3 to 4 years or may be 5 years then with the farming knowledge and extra amount i can go for green house farming.

I REQUEST YOU ALL TO GIVE ME YOUR VALUABLE SUGGESTION ABOT THE TREE WHICH WILL BE SUITABLE FOR ME.
1 - 4 acres land
2 - adjcent to forest(odisha)
3 - Irrigation can be done

3 - possible effects on land in future
Tree which GOAT AND COW CANT EAT WILL BE MORE GOOD

You can try clone Eucalyptus if you want to quick return within 6-7 years & it has less chance to graze out by live stock. spacing 2mx2m, plant population per acre1000 plant, less maintenance as compare to other plant. Profit 9-10 lacs per acre within 6-7 years. You can get sapling ITC, Pragati bio tech. sapling cost will be Rs12-13.
