Stevia subsidy

Can anybody tell me, to which govt dept we need to approach to claim subsidy for Stevia cultivation?

Subsidy

Usually subsidy for medicinal and aromatic plants is provided by National medicinal plants board. It is distributed through state medicinal plant boards. State meicinal plant board has selected some specific area and specific crop. Only those areas it can be availed eg salem area of Tamil nadu is selected for coleus cultivation. There farmers used to get subsidy. There also some conditions. One farmer can avail subsidy only one time for a survey number land. If he grows the same crop second time in that land he cannot get subsidy. Regarding your area you should enquire your horticulture department and state medicinal plant board.
