I am planning to start a Dairy Farm with 50 COWs in Tamilnadu in Udumalpet area.
Please help me in sharing your expertise for my below queries.
1) Total Project cost for 50 Cows + Equipments (Excluding the Land requirements).
2) Market strength / best buyer daily basis.
3) Supply Chain Management. How to sell Milk to get better price? Directly to society or to Dairy plantations
4) Best cows available with 20 to 25 ltr milk / day from each cow.
5) How easy it is, if I need to purchase 50 cows in a time period of 3 months? seller details.
6) Manpower required. Machinery and equipments needed for basic dairy farming.
7) What is the Market demand for milk around Udumalpet/tiruppur area
8) Land requirement for present 50 and feature around 150 cows (keeping in mind maximum feeds will grow from own farm land).
9) Is it really profitable business?
10) What would be the Monthly income and Monthly gross profit in maintaining 50 cows
I respect your sincere advise and expertise in this area. Moreover I am very passionate in Dairy farming and I would like to setup my own farm soon.
