I have 25000 sq ft of land in Sawantwadi Maharashtra Kokan Region want to start Goat Farming there have following quires
1) Which bread of Goat according to weather condition u suggest.
2) Documentation and Goverment Permission required for the same
3) IF there food is available in that region

1.Osmanabadi genetically pureline goat breeds are best suitable in any part of Maharashtra or India,as they gets easily adaptable to nearby surrounding environmental conditions as compare to other goat breeds.
2.No documentation or permission from government is required to start a goat farming as goat farming is an allied agriculture business.For example,is there any document is required to cultivate any crop(pulses,jowar,wheat,rice,sugarcane etc) in your agriculture land?
3.These goat eats any type of green grass,leaves or dry feed which can be easily available in barren areas of konkan region.Goats requires very less water and feed as compare to cows and buffaloes.
