Hi.

Do have a look for a Dairy Farm Project Report (Small scale - Crossbred Cows) as per NABARD guidelines.

The Form on the site can be customized as per your needs i.e. you can change the number, milk yield & cost of animals, sale price of milk, bank loan rate, repayment period etc. and observe its impact on profitability in the spreadsheet instantly. The Project Report can be downloaded as a PDF file also.

It is hoped that this tool shall enable progressive dairy farmers to consider various options (as per their local conditions) before taking major financial decisions.

nabard report is help full but some of the information given is old... nabard should update their report to the present date.
the other confusion was on subsidy section. as per nabard 90% of the cost is paid by loan of which 50 % is intrest free ... and remaining 40 % is between 10 to 14 % intrest. is there any subsidy included in this or do we get the subsidy(25-50)% even after getting the loan.
