Hi, Where can I get seeds/saplings of Acacia concinna{shikakai} around bangalore, how much would it cost? do we need to take any special care while planting it for fencing purpose. you can send me a PM if you feel so. Thanks.

Shikakai is a thorny big tree which can not provide good fencing to your land.Its size grows up to 25 feets at a stretch with radius around 25-30 feets.The thorns of the tree shall become more of a problem to you to manage it.You can not even prune it since it has very sharp thorns and hard wood.However if you use electric saw machine you can maintain it.In that case electricity shall be a big expenditure for you.
