sheep feeding

Hello,

I'm in the process of starting a sheep and Goat farm in kolar district , My plan is to semi grazie the sheep all the day feed from outside that is on the open grounds where ever the grass is available and in the evening feed them in the shed , I wanted to ask the experts and experienced persons in this forum that how good is this type of feeding for the animals and what are the risks and how profitable is this type of feeding. I cant afford to stall feed them completely as of now. Kindly assist

Semi stall feed system,is best as the expenditures on fodder are low as compare to stall feed systems,just dont allow your goats to get mix with the local herds while grazing at field.If you have enough grazing land with green fodder,then you must go for semi satll feed system.
