Sir,
Please guide me, Which breed of sheep is best for western ghat region of karnataka? Rainfall is heavy and weather is very cold during rainy and winter seasons.

Rambulle is sheep not goat.
You can go for Jamunapari and other local verity's.
You provide your exact location to advise other suitable breeds.

Sir, I am thinking of starting a stallfed sheep farming. So, i need the suitable breed of sheep for this weather condition. I am from sirsi, its in western ghat region and thick forest area. rainfall is very high and its very cold in rainy and winter season

Sirisiyalli male hechaagiddaru neevu belesabahudu.
Pls try to know which are local verity sheep available now and aske the people rearing them about their perfarmence etc. Then you can start either style for rearing of sheep.
