I would like to setup a cold storage unit with 100T storage capacity for multi purpose usage in Kollam District of Kerala. Could any one advice me about the following;
1) Estimated cost for a 100T unit
2) Contact details of suppliers / consultants of cold storage plants. Those who can supply, erection as well as complete electrification of the plant.
3) Subsidies available from state Central institutions.
4) Expected electricity consumption per month.

Hi,
here is Ca. Manoj singh from agra. I am dealing in cold storage finance, setup, subsidy, etc. In uttar pradesh. I am dealing in cold storage since 1999 when cent. Govt started subsidy through nhb and nabard. Uptill last year the subsidy was 25% of project cost or rs. 50.00 lac whichever is less. Now from this year it is enhanced to 1.20crore.

Pls check with more than three people before u finalizing on u material.
make sure u can utilize the stor efully / reduce the space. bcos the area should be properly used other wise u wil be loosing money on current charge. Also make sure there are lot of sea food processers/fruits/veggies exporters as u r customer at a reachable distanc. make sure there is container stuffing facility and enough parking and stuffing lot.
