I would like to make sandalwood plantation in my red soil. but here water is very less and we are dependent on rains.
kindly let me know below details.
1. How much water required for sandal wood plantation per acre
2. what is the host plant for this.
3. what is the cost for 10 years each acre.
4. what is the maintenance, support for this.
5. what is more disadvantaes, is it profitable for farmers.
6. after 20years, it may not grow well and not give profit , a farmer will disappointment.
